What muscle skeletal disorders do arm and wrist supports help with?

  • RSI – repetitive strain injury, caused by the same movement being repeated, straining the muscles. Arm and wrist supports can take weight off strained muscles and provide comfortable positions.
  • Carpal tunnel – This is pressure on the nerves in your wrist causing numbness or tingling. Wrist supports are especially good for carpal tunnel as they instantly relieve pressure off the wrist, allowing freer movement of the hand and fingers whilst typing and completing other associated tasks.
  • Nerve damage – This can be anywhere in the body, but specifically with these products we are looking at nerve damage in the upper body. Arm rests take any weight off your arm, wrist and hand allowing looser movement.
  • Rotator cuff injuries – Like nerve damage, shoulder and wrist supports can relieve weight off the muscles, reducing strain and inflammation making working less painful and easier.

These are just a handful of the muscle skeletal diseases that arm and wrist support can help with, if you have any specific questions about other diseases contact us. These are also just products to help, if you are in serious pain contact your doctor.

Where does the arm and wrist support go?

Each one comes with specific instructions as they are all slightly different. However, most attach to the edge of the desk or sit on top of the desk. One of the great things about the majority of the supports is that they are adjustable so they can be made to fit you.
